Fees
A fee is taken from a payment when it settles and sent to the fee’s address. The customer pays the payment link’s price; fees come out of what the merchant receives.

Server fees and app fees
Section titled “Server fees and app fees”- Server fees, created with the root key outside any app, apply to every app’s payments on that chain. Use them to charge the apps you host. Apps can see them but not change them.
- App fees, created inside an app, apply only to that app’s payments. Use them to split revenue, for example with a partner.
